Following the General Assembly of the Neuroscience Society (NWG), which took place in Göttingen between March 26th and March 29th 2025, Prof. Dr. Ansgar Büschges has assumed the office of President oft he society. Büschges, previously Vice President, will head the society during the 2025-2027 term of office. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Frank Kirchhoff, who led the NWG for the past two years. Elections to the NWG Board of Directors are held every two years by postal vote, with the incumbent Vice President automatically succeeding the office of President.
