Our research mainly focusses on evolution of arthropods. Currently we are working on the following topics:

Phylogeny and Taxonomy of Zygentoma, Mantophasmatodea and the megadiverse Tenebrionidae
Evolution of Venom in Arthropods
Biodiversity and Biogeography of Insects in arid Environments
