Our research is mainly focused on evolution in arthropods. Currently we are working on the following topics:

• Biodiversity and biogeography of insects
• Evolution of neuroendocrine systems in insects
• Development of mass spectrometry-based methods for the analytical detection of peptide hormones
• Evolution of venom in arthropods
