Angelina Ruthe

Research

In my research, I am interested in the neuronal networks underlying locomotion and in particular walking. I use electrophysiological methods in insects to unravel the neuronal mechanisms and network organization that enable motor flexibility such as changing the walking direction.

  • Since 2025: PostDoc, Institute of Zoology, University of Cologne

  • 2019: External Research Internship at the Université de Montréal, Canada
